The Silvered Serpents is an amazingly atmospheric book full of magic, mystery, intrigue and treasure hunting. This book is a cross between the Davinci Code and An national treasure and was gripping from the first chapter. The characters are amazingly portrayed and the scenes are excellently described, enough so that you feel you are there!

Between the twists, turns and surprises and an ending that leaves you gasping (and None of this is heavy handed — but it's impossible to miss. Like all the best middle novels in trilogies, The Silvered Serpents ends on a cliffhanger, with multiple questions unanswered (and asking new questions of its own). It is a reminder that books have the power to tear us apart inside, to break our hearts into a million pieces. It is also a reminder that books have the power to make us feel warm and happy, to give us characters that we can’t help but feel the need to protect. The Silvered Serpents is the follow up to Roshani Chokshi ‘s amazing novel The Gilded Wolves. Unfortunately, this installment doesn’t live up to the wonder of the first book.
